Ham and Cheese Puff Pastry

 Air Fryer Ham and Cheese Puff Pastry

 Ingredients:

  • 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
  • 4–6 slices ham (cooked/deli)
  • 4–6 slices cheese (cheddar, Swiss, or mozzarella work well)
  • 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
  • Optional: Dijon mustard or cream cheese for spread

 Instructions:

  1. Preheat air fryer to 180°C (350°F).
  2. Prepare pastry:
    • Roll out puff pastry and cut into rectangles (about 6–8, depending on size).
    • Optional: Spread a thin layer of Dijon mustard or cream cheese on one side.
  3. Layer filling:
    • Place 1 slice of ham and 1 slice of cheese on half the rectangles.
    • Cover with another piece of pastry. Press edges with a fork to seal.
  4. Egg wash:
    • Brush tops with beaten egg for a golden finish.
  5. Air fry:
    • Place in the air fryer basket (leave space between each).
    • Cook at 180°C (350°F) for 10–12 minutes, until puffed and golden brown.
  6. Cool slightly and enjoy!

 Storage Tip:

  • Store leftovers in an airtight container and reheat in the air fryer at 160°C (320°F) for 2–3 minutes.
